Interim President and CEO
John Mitterholzer has paused his term on the RePurpose Capital Board to serve as the organization’s interim President & CEO. He is the former program director for Climate and Environmental Justice at the George Gund Foundation who has worked with the National Trust for Historic Preservation to launch Main Street programs in Wyoming and Montana, both of whom have programs today. John is the chair of the Main Street of America board of directors and serves on the board of Heritage Ohio.

Patrice Frey is the founding President & CEO of RePurpose Capital and former President & CEO of Main Street America, where she led national efforts to revitalize older and historic downtowns. She brings deep expertise in sustainable development, preservation, and community-based economic revitalization.
Monica Miller
Director of Originations
Monica Miller oversees loan sourcing and pipeline development, leveraging over 30 years of experience in Main Street revitalization, community lending, and small-scale real estate development. She plays a central role in connecting RPC to projects that align with its mission.
Kristina Kaufmann
Director of Fundraising
Kristy Kaufmann leads fundraising and investor engagement for RePurpose Capital, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a nonprofit CEO, strategist, and mission-driven fundraiser. She shapes and drives RPC’s capital strategy to support community-centered preservation finance.
Chelsea Ong’olo
Program Manager, Administration & Finance
Chelsea Ong’olo supports RePurpose Capital’s financial operations and administrative functions. With a background in nonprofit operations and project coordination, she ensures smooth day-to-day management across the organization.
